Kristen and Jameson Bast will be working at a Christian international school for missionary kids located in the south western part of Germany starting in August of 2022.
Black Forest Academy is an International Christian School that provides quality and affordable education to its students. The unique thing about BFA is that most of the students are missionary kids from 40+ countries. BFA partners with families involved in Bible translation, church planting, medical missions, flight-supply missions, refugee ministries, college and sports ministries, and missionaries who work with widows and orphans.
The larger ministry goal is to impact the lives of students at BFA. Jameson will be teaching art classes, building student relationships, and encouraging students in their walk with God. Kristen will be volunteering with the school's health office. Having grown up in Austria, Kristen is already fluent in German and has experiences as a missionary kid and overseas. She hopes to mentor and walk alongside other missionary kids at BFA.
By serving at Black Forest Academy, we want to join in on what God is doing there and make it possible for missionaries to continue to serve in areas of the world where quality education is difficult to find.
