WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE LOVE

the short

This is a great place to be. We're a growing and life-giving church family always looking for how we can continue to help more people know God deeply. We work hard, but also have a ton of fun. It's an opportunity to have access to one of the greatest cities in the nation, but live in a small town where the cost of living is low and the services are excellent . We love these people. You will too. We're able to be a part of a team of people on the move fulfilling the task God has given us.

the somewhat longer...

Cornerstone Church in Litchfield, Minnesota is a thriving and growing church family. Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and carry out the mission within the essential context of relationship. We are a group of people who take our calling seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. We like to have fun.

Around 1,300 people from every generation worship together each week, with a programming emphasis on young families in their 20's, 30's, and 40's. A large percentage of the body actively engages in ministry and community throughout the week. We are known in our community as a place where all are welcomed regardless of their background. A healthy culture of "family" embraces people from all walks of life in authentic relationships. We are also known for our community involvement, having made numerous intentional and bold steps to connect with and serve diverse people in need Our commitment to solid, yet unpretentious Bible teaching with real life application reveals ongoing life transformation, as we help people connect to a real God in a grace-filled, safe and relevant setting. Additionally, we are known for how we give and love.

Litchfield is a great place to live and especially raise a family. Low cost of living, great schools, no line at the DMV or post office, lots of space, strong young families and leaders everywhere, excellent healthcare, and strong industry presence are just some of the factors that make Litchfield a great place to live. A bonus is that we are an hour from one of the most dynamic and livable metropolitan areas in the country. The Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area is very similar in nature and size to San Diego and Seattle. The main thing that separates those three cities is weather and cost of living. Living here you have double benefit of access to an incredible city while enjoying benefits of small town life.

Due to God's blessing, prayer, the church's integrity, leadership, inspiring vision, biblical and relational focus, and distinct missional orientation, the Cornerstone family has gained momentum in the size and scope of its ministry atypical of churches in rural areas. We are healthy and proactively positioned for an exciting future of growth and effective ministry both on our current campus and future campuses. Our vision is to be a regional church of 1,800 people on 3 campuses, with global influence by 2021.
